ONE-ON-ONE INDIVIDUAL WORKSHOPS
- Each participant gets individual guidance and feedback on their song interpretation and presentation!
- Learn how to interpret a song and break it down into acting beats!
- Receive suggested songs for future auditions!
- Q & A with Eddie!
Students participating in this workshop will be required to submit a performance of a song of their choosing no longer than four (4) minutes either a cappella or with a backing track (many can be found on YouTube). These videos should be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled workshop session.
INSTRUCTOR: Eddie Zitka
EDDIE ZITKA is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of K and E Theater Group. He brings to the individual workshops many years of experience working as a professional actor. He attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. He performed on the national tour of The Wedding Singer, followed by performances at the McCarter Theater in Princeton, NJ, and the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, and countless regional houses both in New England and Central Florida. Most recently, he was seen as Johnny Ringo in the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Walt Disney World. Eddie also served as Director of KETG's previous productions of Sweeney Todd, Songs for a New World, and Assassins. He will be seen next as Director, Choreographer and as the Emcee in KETG's production of Cabaret in 2021.
