Ever wonder what a stage manager actually does? How does one individual ensure that the orchestrated madness you just witnessed on stage happen the same exact way every night, live? Over the course of 3 weeks, Carly will take you from that first rehearsal to the opening night of a production and show you just how many hats a stage manager wears!

INSTRUCTOR: CARLY DellaPenna
CARLY DellaPenna began her relationship with K and E Theater Group as the lighting designer for their production of Songs for a New World. After graduating from Westfield State University with a degree in Tech-Theater, she turned her passion into a full time career. From community to professional theater, she is a jack of all trades. Serving as a stage manager, lighting/sound designer, and carpenter, she has become a well-established name across the New England area. After returning from her time as a stage manager at the Brevard Music Center, she is now the Assistant Technical Director at Holyoke Community College and the Staff Production Assistant at Majestic Theater. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with aspiring stage managers!
